We saw Lars and the Real Girl for about 15 minutes, and there were some scenes that gave me strong impressions. The beginning of the movie showed the expression of Lars, his face was full of sadness and loneliness. Until where we finished watching the movie, all of the characters wore thick clothes. The weather was always cloudy and dark which made a mysterious mood for movie. Most of the scenes were focused on character’s emotion and eyesight. Moreover, In contrast to Lar’s house, the brother of Lars’s house was always filled with warm light. At the beggining of the movie, Lars did not have smile on his face. However, after he got the doll, he became more expressive.
In the movie lars and the real girl that we watched in class today which I thought that it was weird but interesting at the same time. Lars, who is the main character who isolates himself from the society and people and spends most of his time by himself. His brother and his brother’s wife are worried and are willing to take care of him or help him out but he refuses. In my opinion, I think that the reason why Lars is refusing relationship between people and why he refuses help is probably because he lost his mother when he was young. At the beginning, he looked pale and nervous and was wearing a blanket handling it carefully and he also talked about the blanket and his parents in the dinner when he was invited. Furthermore, I found it kind of interesting because it has a similar concept with pobby and dingan because in the last scene we watched he brought a doll that is supposed to be his girlfriend.
I think that the film gives the main topic and the general characteristics of the characters in the beginning. The movie started in a depressive way. It first showed Lars face closely that made us focus in his facial expressions. He was looking outside the window and there was a slow and depressing music during that scene. The colors were mostly dark or the brightness of the snow that was outside could made me feel that way. So far I mostly saw close ups to people's faces. It made me notice that people's reactions are important in this movie. I think that there is a good connection between people's clothes and the main topic of the film. The topic is about this guy named Lars and the journey of his life with his doll girlfriend. I believe that this is a sad situation so the clothes and the weather are usually in colors that can make people feel depressed. So far the emotion that the film gave me was happiness and sadness at the same time because of the change in Lars' character.

In the first scene of the movie, lars seem not happy even his neighbour invite him to eat breakfast. To summerize it, the movie is funny and most of the setting is based on the real world.
I think the movie is interesting, but at first, I was a little bit confused because I couldn't understand the relationship between them, and Lars seems so weird at first, he always look sad and lonely, he seems kind of afraid of talking to others, even though when he was having dinner with his brother, Gus. And the setting that I really interested in was he's "female friend" came and they met in Lars' brother's home, I really don't know what he was thinking about. So that I'm looking forward to watch more and see what will happen next.

Even when he is working, he is like try to ignore everybody, so he is just want to be alone. I remember he was dressed on a nice and go to knock on the couple's house and try to introduce his "girl" "friend". Then Lars and his "friend" set on the sofa, Lars's motion was over cautions, just like a primary school student.
I think in the beginning of this film, it shows a lof of imformation about this film. From the costumes, we can know maybe it's made at early 20th centry. And at that time. And on more thing we can learn from this film is that Lars wears so normal and obslete. This detail can show us he is a person who is lonely and don't want to talk to other people and even talk less to his brother. I think it's very good to choose this actor to act as Lars because he have peaceful and serious expression that can shows he is talkless. In my opinion, this beginning shows how Lars is and attract us a lot and let us want to know what happen later.
