Me and You, Blog 1
Describe the world of the narrator. Who is his/her family? Where
does he/she live? What is
interesting/strange/unique/annoying/exceptional about him/her?
Narrator is a child who has two parents. Narrator does not seem like a teenager but more like a child because his mother still does not want him to be independent. They live in a place where there is snow near by. The boy seems to hide from his mother and create a secret place. It seems he lied to his mother said he is going to ski actually he stay in an area to relax. Why? It seems strange and unique for a child like that.
The main character’s name is Lorenzo, his family is his mother and his father. During chapter1, the author did not mention about their family members’ name. I think he lived in Cividale del Friuli, a town in Italy. Until now, I only got a little information about Lorenzo, and I think he was weird and different from other teenagers. For example, he needed his mum to woke him up in the morning. Moreover, he said “Do you love me?” and “Kiss.” to his mum, I don’t think a boy who is already a teenager will say these things to his mum. There is another interesting part of Lorenzo. His mum drove him to saw Alessia’s parents, in order to let Lorenzo go skiing. However, he lied to him mum and stayed in the cellar which was in their apartment. I cannot understand why he didn’t go skiing, and I hope to know the reason when I read through this book.
Narrator is a teenager boy and has parents. Even though he is teenager he is very dependent. His mom has to wake him up. He lives in Italy. Something I found unique about him is that even though he is old enough to be independent, he still depends on his mother.
The narrator is a teenage boy, and the family in there is narrator's mom. The narrator lives in Italy. He is a teenage boy but he really takes care by his mom like he is just a kid that goes to elementary school. From this I can see that the story is probably going to talk about how he gets independent in the future.
Lorenzo is the narrator and he is a teenager boy, he live in Italy, and live with his parents. But Lorenzo's mom is like treat him like a child and taking care of him all the time in some way, make him not independent, when his mom driving him to the ski, he lie to his mom that he wants to go by himself or his friends going to laugh at him and didn't go to skiing.
