Me and You, Blog 3
What conflicts does the protagonist face? How prepared is
he/she to face them? Do you think he/she will be successful? Is he/she alone,
or supported by others?
The conlict the protagonist face is the lie to his mother. His mother thought he has friends and they always invite him to some activities. However these are all lies by the protagpnist. Actually he is alone in the school ,just pretending he is cool in school. I think his lie will finally finded by other people. He will not be successful because every lie he made need to have another lie to cover it up. Eventually sombody will find it out and the only method he has is to keep making things up and lie to others. Else, tell the truth.
The conflicts that Lorenzo face is to tell lies to his mum about the trip for skiing with Alessia and Dobosz’s family. In order to avoid mum identifying his lies, he prepared foods, clothes, books, and everything he needs in the cellar, which is at the basement of his apartment. I don’t think he will be successful, because there must be some evidences that can discern his lies. For example, if his mum call Alessia’s mother, she will know truth about everything. Until now, he is alone to face the conflicts. However, I think someone will help him later.
The conflict that Lorenzo is going to facing is to lie to his mother that he went to the skiing with his friends, but actually he stayed by himself instead go out with his friends. He had though a lot about what should he say to his mom. And he get his stuffs ready in his cellar. However I don't think he is going to be successful because his mom is so care about him, I am pretty sure she is going to check on him but also his friend's parents. So far he is doing those by himself, nobody is helping him.
The conflict that Lorenzo is going to face is that he needs to recover his lie about going to the ski week with his friends. From the text, I can see that he is not prepared at all. Because he needs to either find a way to recover the lie, or to pretent he is really going and he hadn't think of anyway to recover the lie. I think he will fail in the end because he is not likely to be spending all the time on his own and he had to tell the truth to his mother. Also he is on his own.

He confused because his mother is worried about him – but she wants him to have friends and he has made up the story about the ski trip. I don’t think that Lorenzo will be successful with the story. I think that his mother will catch him in the story and she will find out the truth. Lorenzo is alone – nobody is supporting him because he doesn’t have any friends.
