Me and You, Blog 6
Based on the world the author has created, what are some possible endings? Point to moments in the text or qualities of the characters that support these possibilities.
I think the possible ending is that Lorenzo will help his sister Olivia to solve the problem. The reason why he will help Olivia is because he likes her. For example, in the text, we can find that Lorenzo said, “I had expected Olivia to be ugly and with an unpleasant fact like Cinderella’s stepsisters. Instead she was incredibly beautiful, one of those girls that as soon as you look at them your face burns red and everybody knows you think she is beautiful...you don’t even know how to sit down.” According to this quote, we can know that he was attracted by Olivia. As for Olivia, she met some problems with money, and this problem was terribly repellent because she said that “If you tell them(parents) I’m dead.”
I think the possible ending is that Lorenzo's parent will realize what they have done. Just because of some specfic event, there parents will find out what he have done and come. Olivia and Lorenzo will find some way to escape from that place. They made it, however they still need to get back. Olivia asked Lorenzo to say they lied, and Lorenzo did tell the reasons to his parents and they forgive him. With Lorenzo's help, Olivia finally said everything about what he had happend during these years and the disease. During chapter 6 Olivia helped Lorenzo and Lorenzo promised he will be her slave forever. This means they will start a "special relationship" and be happily ever after. :P
Olivia is a important person in the book, because she change a lot about Lorenzo, no matter does Olivia goes inside of Lorenzo' heart, they have been talk a lot about what did happened in the pass couple years. Olivia is his half sister. And she come to his house by somehow. “I watched her silently not knowing what to say.” I think Olivia will be the one either help Lorenzo to hiding the truth or tell his mom the truth.
I believe the possible ending in books like this should always be a happy ending, things like the main character worked out everything or he/she managed to change it's self. In this case, the main character and Olivia, his half-sister would proboly have a happy ending, she should change a lot about Lorenzo and they would have a "happily ever after" life.
I think the ending of this book must be related with Olivia. This is because Lorenzo thinks she is pretty. Also, he said that he will do whatever Olivia tells him to do. So, I think Olivia will keep the secret and help him. Also, Olivia will help Lorenzo with his disorder.
